• TPO

  TPO is the membrane on a large share of new commercial flat roofs. It's usually white, it reflects heat, and its seams are welded with hot air rather than glued.

• EPDM

  EPDM is the black "rubber roof" on many flat roofs. It has been used on low-slope buildings since the 1960s, longer than most other single-ply membranes.

• Standing Seam

  Standing seam roofs are the clean, vertical-ribbed metal roofs on many modern homes and commercial buildings. Their fasteners are hidden under the seams, which removes one of the most common leak points on a metal roof.
